World Most Famous Painting



Painting is the practice of applying paint, pigments, colors, or any on a surface (support base). The application of a general average is applied to the base with a brush, but other objects can be used. In art, the term describes both the act and the result is called a table. Paintings could be supported by surfaces such as walls, paper, canvas, wood, glass, paint, clay or concrete and can incorporate many other materials such as sand, clay, paper, gold leaf and objects.




Mona Lisa
Mona Lisa (La Gioconda or La Joconde as well) known in a sixteenth-century Florence painted oil painting on poplar panel, during the Renaissance by Leonardo da Vinci Italian Piero de services. Sistine Chapel

Rubens Massacre of the Innocents
This painting by Rubens was wrongly attributed to one of his assistants in 1787. It was not until 2001 that an expert found that this was a genuine Rubens.

It was sold at auction in London in 2002 to 49,500,000 kroner (then $ 86 million or 77 million euros). The buyer was revealed to a Canadian newspaper baron Kenneth Thomson. Thomson has donated work (and many others) for the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto. He is currently on display in the National Gallery in London.
